Master Bedroom

Do you ever wonder what boutique hotels, high-end resorts and Pinterest worthy bedrooms all have in common? It’s all in the padded bedhead! Nothing says luxury like one of these and now’s your opportunity to get your own hands on one.

Buy one readily made from your favourite furniture store or, better yet, make your own! With the rise of Tik Tok in the last year comes loads of DIY demonstration videos showing you just how easy it can be to build your own luxury bedhead to complement your existing frame.

Opt for a velvet fabric or a bedhead with special detailing to add to that grandeur feeling to your bedroom.

Entryway

Given the entryway is usually the first area of the home prospective buyers see, it’s important the area has a welcoming wow-factor! To make it luxurious, we suggest lighting up the space with a modern pendant light that makes a statement.

Be sure to opt for a luxe finish such as matt black, brass or glass and pair it with bright bulbs to create a warm reception at home opens.

PSCO. Tip; Stuck for which height to hang your light? Don’t worry - this can be really hard! Remember that low hanging pendants create an intimate feeling whilst a higher hung piece gives the whole room a more classic and traditional feel. So, the right height depends a lot on the feeling you want to create in the space.

Living Room

Now for the fun part! When it comes to elevating your main living spaces, it’s easy to add an element of luxury with accessories. Mixing and matching different cushions with varied texture, colour and size will be sure to take your sofa from drab to fab. For a luxe finish, be sure to choose materials like velvet and leather.

Other decorative accents like oversized artwork, luscious throw blankets or trendy ceramic vases also help to achieve the same stylish finish with ease.

Kitchen

Something that not many homeowners realise is that door handles can be a very obvious tell-tale sign of aging properties. Updating these in your kitchen is a very quick and cost effective way of adding some flair to one of the most-used rooms of the home.

These days, there are so many options available, with several different shapes and finishes on the market at affordable price points from Bunnings or your local hardware store. Matt black, brass and leather are all luxe materials that will instantly give old cupboards a bit of elegance.

Dining Room

When it comes time to your dining space, potential buyers want to see how they will be able to share family meals and celebrate many special occasions to come. Rather than splurging on a complete new dining setting to plush up your dining space, just switch up your dining room chairs instead.

Consider chairs with a cushioning armrest or a plush fabric, like boucle or velvet, for a truly luxe feel. Try and match the colour materials to your existing dining table and you won't be able to tell that they weren't a set from the start!
