Easy Easter Styling

The extra long weekend is a perfect excuse to bring some festive style to your home this Easter.

The trick is to keep it simple and cost effective. This year at Perth Style Company we are putting a contemporary spin on all the traditional classics and we are keeping it fun but fancy and frugal on the pocket. Our go to styling items are super easy for you to shop for this weekend in preparation to wow your guests and the easter bunny when they visit next weekend!

Pastels & Petites

Traditionally Easter styling consists of pastel colour tones, rustics and raw elements, and baby animals like bunnies and chickens and of course eggs. So keep these things in mind when you are putting your spin on the styling.

This year we have incorporated these traditional aspects but with a modern spin. We chose one pastel colour being baby blue and we stuck to muted cooler shades to compliment, shades of grey give the these a contemporary take. (Classic PSCO right here!) We then chose to get creative with the egg like nests and have some fun with the bunny ears. For a rustic touch we used string and linen napery.

Simplistic and Repetitive

Try not to complicate things. Choose three main colours and stick to these tones. Use the same items on repeat, from your dining table to your entry or on the coffee table. Keep it consistent and repetitive.

You don’t need to go over the top, just a handful of decorative items is fine.

Soft Florals

As you know we adore fresh florals and any excuse to bring life to a space. Go to town with florals as a table centre or plotted around the home. All you need to know about easter florals is to keep them small and simple like baby’s breath or Daisys. Alternatively keep them tonal and soft like fresh eucalyptus. So pretty!

Make It Fancy

Bring out some of your good stuff. Or make a little extra purchase just for you! It’s a once a year celebration! A great excuse to use your best glasses, your best table cloth or your favourite server. Life’s too short to keep your best things in a cupboard! Spoil yourself.
